“I decided to visit the best rated cafe in Kingston and I am so glad I did. I sat outside in the sun and was greeted by Peter, the owner, who was lovely and knew all the locals by name! I ordered a flat white and a full English (which Peter altered to get some hash browns on the plate). The food came quickly and was spot on for a Friday morning in the sun! This little gem gives off the vibe of the local cafe that has been replaced by so many charmless and overpriced gentrifying chains. You can tell Peter cares about his regulars and newcomers alike, but I for one can’t wait to become a regular here!”

“I popped into Coffee Break for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than I planned. I ordered a tuna melt sandwich and a latte, and the first thing that really stood out was the coffee. The latte was genuinely impressive—smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with good-quality beans. The tuna melt was just as satisfying in its own way. It came out generous and properly filled, not shy on the tuna at all. What made the visit feel even nicer was the atmosphere. Peter and his staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than transactional.”

“On a hot busy Saturday lunchtime, this is the place to go for lunch. Air conditioned, good food, excellent service. Why spend your money in souless corporate coffee shops, when you can come here, listen to the background music and chill out. Pay this place a visit. You wont be disappointed.”
